The documentary, Hunger in the Valley of Plenty, was presented with an Emmy Award for Current Affairs-Program/Special during a ceremony last night in San Francisco.  The film, which examines the paradox of food insecurity in California’s farm-rich San Joaquin Valley, was produced by Pandau’s Scott Anger and reported by Natasha Del Toro and Sasha Khokha and edited by David Ritsher for CIR and Shirley Gutierrez for KQED.
